A Limit of Trout at Foster Reservoir - April 2010

My son and I caught our limits of rainbow trout at Foster Reservoir on April 17, 2010. We also discovered a strange new species! Check it out at My Hunting & Fishing Photos.

As usual, we caught them with PowerBait (orange) on size 18 treble hooks, with two medium-sized split-shot sinkers placed on the 4lb test monofilament, about 16 inches above the hook.

My brother and I will hopefully get up to Diamond Lake shortly after the season opener. Stay tuned to find out if we do better than I did at Diamond Lake last year ,when the resident rainbows survived a real thrashing.

Tight Lines!

  1. That sure is a good lookin' young angler you have there. That smile says it all. He looks like he is proud to show off the days earnings. Happy hook ups with your trip with your brother!
